The Village of Valras

The village of Valras Plage is situated by the river L'Orb and the Mediterranean sea.

Our apartment is situated on the river and is a 10 minute walk to the golden, sandy beach.



The walk to the beach takes you along the local marina.





You then pass the daily meeting place for the locals to play "boule".



During the summer the Valras market can be found by the sea front.

The market sells local produce which you can always taste before buying.







As you would expect of a fishing village, there are plenty of fresh fish markets to buy the best catch

of the day.



The 4km beach has long stretches of sand as well as a play area for children.

Even in the spring you can find folks on the beach or in the sea!





Valras town center has many cafe's, bistros and restaurants for you to choose from.

The local tourist office can provide you with maps and information on the local events in the area.
